A second series of road improvements has begun at Stella Maris Village. Following on from the re-surfacing of Ocean View Drive, which was completed some time ago, the present works are taking place on Independence Avenue (the main entrance road to Stella Maris from the Queens Highway) and the airport road (see diagram).
This work has been organised with great enthusiasm by the Stella Maris Property Owners Association, with finance from their members, Stella Maris Resort Club and Stella Maris Village Limited. The improvements will be welcomed by both island residents and visitors alike, especially those who use these roads regularly.
